Winter is finally over, and we’ve found a half dozen places to spring fling our favorite vegetales de primavera into our menu.
We’re adding fresh grilled asparagus and English peas to The Chopper Salad and Baby Kale Salad. Those tasty green spheres and spears are appear in our grilled spring chicken quesadilla and burrito, too.
The new Chicken & Asparagus Tacos add fresh, crunch pea tendrils, Cotija cheese and cilantro cream to the asparagus and peas, while the Shiitake & Asparagus Tacos have tender grilled mushroom caps with goat cheese.
Spring Sauté for Sunday Brunch
New at Mad Mex Shadyside, we’re adding a Spring Vegetable Sauté. Shiitake mushrooms, grilled asparagus, English peas, potato and bacon or soy sausage. Topped with over easy eggs, Cotija cheese and crunchy pea shoots.
